Lot Description

A silver mounted pepper grinder, of plain baluster form. Hallmarked Adie Brothers Ltd., Birmingham 1958. Height including finial measures 3 1/2 inches (9 cm).

The item displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.  Several heavier marks and nicks are visible.  A large dint around the top rim, several small dints/bumps elsewhere.  The hallmarks appear a little rubbed but still legible.  Lion Passant struck to the top of the finial.  Rust visible to the screws on the underside and to parts of the grinding mechanism.
