Lot Description
A late Victorian silver sugar scuttle of plain outline, missing scoop, hallmarked John Newton Mappin, Sheffield 1890 also with impressed mark 'Mappin & Webb'. Together with a modern silver christening mug, decorated in relief to the lower body with a continuous band depicting geese, hallmarked Turner & Simpson Ltd., Birmingham 1965. Combined weight 12.65 ozt (393.5 grams).

Condition Report
Both items display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. Numerous heavier scratches, nicks and marks visible to both and some minor knocks/dints. Heavy tarnishing is visible to the mug and it would benefit from a clean and polish. All the hallmarks are clear and legible.
