Lot 171

Lot Description

A 1930's silver nut dish of circular outline, decorated with Celtic motifs to the applied and shaped rim and with footed base, hallmarked Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd., London 1938.  Together with a pedestal bonbon dish of elongated oval form to a circular foot, hallmarked David Lawrence Silverware, Birmingham 1967.  Combined weight 6.9 ozt (214.7 grams). (2).

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

Both dishes display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.  Heavier scratches visible to both and some slight surface dints/bumps.  There are some knocks to the foot rim of the nut dish so that it is now a little squashed and the dish wobbles when in the standing position.  The hallmarks appear a little rubbed but are all still legible.
