Lot Description
An early twentieth century silver toast rack of arched form with six divisions and a pierced teardrop shape finial, hallmarked S Blanckensee & Sons Ltd., Birmingham 1913 or 1938. Together with an octagonal sided silver nut dish with twin pierced handles, hallmarked Viner's Ltd., Sheffield 1937. Length of toast rack measures 4 5/8 inches (11.7 cm), length of dish including handles measures 6 1/4 inches (16 cm), combined weight 7 ozt (218.5 grams). (2).

Condition Report
Both items display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Heavier scratches, marks and minor nicks are visible to some areas. The toast rack wobbles when in a standing position and some of the divisions are very slightly misshapen. The hallmarks are all clear and legible.
