Lot Description
A 1950's Art Deco style silver mounted cigarette box of oblong form with personal engraving, canted corners, an engine turned lid with horizontal reeding to the conforming stepped feet and opening to a wood lined interior. Hallmarked Stephen J Rose, London 1955. Length measures 6 7/8 inches (17.5 cm), width 4 5/8 inches (11.75 cm).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, tarnish and wear commensurate with age and use. There are two larger dents to the corners along with small patches of discolouration to the lid. The hinge is in good working order. The wood lined interior is in good condition, with two postal stamps stuck to the inside of the lid, small nibbles near the hinge and and patch of discolouration where a sticker has been removed, one side is slightly loose. The hallmarks and maker's mark are clear and legible.
