A modern pair of silver mounted bookends, each formed as a geode of banded agate with a silver mount naturalistically cast as rock. Hallmarked Sheffield 1990 and the sponsor's mark SL. Height measuring 5 inches (13 cm).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Hallmarked panels appear quite worn, one in particular, the hallmarks appear very rubbed and difficult to decipher.
