An Edwardian silver mounted glass vanity box of oblong form, the silver lid with floral scroll embossing and crimped rim. Hallmarked William Aitken, Birmingham 1904. Length measuring 3 1/4 inches (8.5 cm).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
Numerous stains and chips to glass. The silver lid appears a little large for glass base. Rubbing with a little loss of definition to the decoration on the silver. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
