A Victorian silver trophy cup, in goblet form and decorated with twin opposed floral panels and two further panels, one reading 'The Meadows Regency Cup' and the other 'The Thomas Hixon Memorial Perpetual Challenge Trophy', all within foliate borders, with beaded rims to the knopped stem and spreading circular foot. Hallmarked Robert Harper, London 1868. Height measuring 10 1/4 inches (26 cm), gross weight 18.73 ozt (582.6 grams).

Condition Report
The trophy appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Heavier tarnishing to the interior. Some minor shallow dints/bumps. The decoration is still fairly crisp and bright. The hallmarks appear a little rubbed but are still clear and legible. Not fitted to a plinth.
