A 1920's cased silver and enamel manicure set, comprising two glass vanity pots, nail buffer, nail file, tweezers, cuticle pusher, cuticle remover, each with silver and yellow guilloché enamel mounts, in fitted case, also complete with two pairs of base metal scissors. Hallmarked W G Sothers Ltd, Birmingham 1928 and 1929. Width of case measuring 8 3/4 inches (22 cm).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor chips to glass. Overall the enamel appears in good condition. Blades to the accessories are marked steel and/or steel English make, the scissors are marked Germany Bonsa and appear of a similar ilk and a good fit to the case. Hallmarks generally legible, a little distorted where they appear under the enamel. Noticeable wear to the surface of the case.
