A selection of Old Sheffield Plate and silver plate, to include an early nineteenth century Smith & Co. tankard of tapered form, with reeded rims and central band, to the scroll handle with heart terminal and wooden base, a pair of candlesticks each on scalloped quatrefoil bases to the tapered stem and similarly designed detachable nozzle with scrolling floral edges throughout, together with a dish with reed and shell edge. Height of candlesticks 12 1/2 inches (31.8 cm).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Significant wear to silver finish. Copper colour to edges and base visible only on candlesticks. Lid deficient to tankard. Maker's mark worn. Dish shows edge in different metal.
