A George III silver caster of florally embossed baluster form, the probably replacement cover with pierced and diaper decoration. Hallmarked to the base only London 1777, maker's mark over stamped possibly TS. Height measuring 5 1/4 inches (13 cm), weight 2.7 ozt (84 grams).

Condition Report
In fair overall condition. The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
Rubbing with loss of definition and decoration. Foot dented. Minor dints and bumps. The lid is a little loose in position, likely not to be original, stylistically it also does not match. No hallmarks to the lid, hallmarks to base distorted and maker's mark over stamped.
