Lot Description
An early twentieth century silver mounted bottle coaster, gadroon rim with foliate shell detail and inset silver disc to the wood base, hallmarked John Grinsell & Sons, Birmingham 1914. Together with a selection of plated items to include a circular slaver, a hot water pot, a teapot, an entree dish, a pedestal dish, two coasters, two twin-handled sugar bowls and an egg cup.

Condition Report
In varied state, however all pieces display general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with their age and use, and to varying degrees. Heavy tarnishing is visible to many of the items, including the silver coaster, and they would all benefit from a clean and polish. The hallmarks on the silver coaster are clear and legible.
