Lot 311

Lot Description

A continental pot of cylindrical form, ornately embossed with floral, foliate and scroll motifs against a 'honeycomb' ground and within beaded borders, the removable circular lid with conforming decoration. Marked to the underside 'WW 800'. Height 4 7/8 inches (12.5 cm), weight 294.7 grams.

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

The pot displays general surface scratches, marks and wear.  Quite heavy tarnishing is visible throughout and it would benefit from a clean and polish.  Seam line clearly visible.  Minor dints and bumps.  Some loss of surface detail and definition to the 'honeycomb' background.
