Condition Report
The item displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Heavier patches and spots of tarnishing visible to some areas and it would benefit from a clean and polish. Knocks to the foot and the short stem is pushed into the base slightly so that the tureen leans a little to one side. Some holes in the metal around the edge of the foot, just above the beaded rim. Some other cracks along seam lines are visible. The lid sits quite well, although not completely flush all the way round. However, there are corresponding notches for a ladle to both the lid and main rim. The hallmarks are distorted and some are completely obscured. The lid has a small handle rather than a central finial.
