Lot Description

A mid-eighteenth century Russian silver bowl, the circular bowl with flared lip, the body engraved with a geometric band, further personal crest and standing on a circular footed base. Russian assay marks for Moscow, circa 1748, although date is indistinct, further Cyrillic and Latin marks. Height measuring 2 1/2 inches (6.5 cm), weight 4.4 ozt (138 grams).
