An Edwardian silver swing handled basket, the oval pierced body with scroll rim, putti masks and raised on an oval footed base. Hallmarked Henry Hobson & Sons, Birmingham 1903. Length measuring 11 inches (28 cm), weight 15.7 ozt (489 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some areas of heavier scratching and tarnishing. Minor dints and bumps. Solder visible to the underside. The hallmarks are clear and legible, passant and date letter visible to the handle. No personal engravings visible.
