Lot Description

A set of Edwardian silver fish eaters for six place settings in a reproduction Rat-tail style pattern.  Hallmarked Atkin Brothers, Sheffield 1902.  Weight 20.61 ozt (641 grams). (12).

All the knives and forks display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.  Numerous deeper scratches, marks and nicks are visible to all pieces and there is heavy wear to both the knife blades and the fork tines.  The tips of all the blades display several dints and bumps and the tip edges are beginning to fold over.  The fork tines are also very bent and out of shape and there is considerable wear to the tips so that they are of uneven lengths.  The hallmarks are all clear and legible.
