Lot 410

Lot Description

An Edwardian silver child's spoon and fork set, hallmarked Robert Stebbings, London 1907.  Together with a similar child's set with engraved initials to each terminal, hallmarked Lee & Wigfull (Henry Wigfull), Sheffield 1926.  Combined weight 4.26 ozt (132.6 grams).

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

All four items display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with their age and use.  Heavier tarnishing to some areas, also some deeper scratches and marks.  The spoon bowl and fork tines on the Edwardian examples appear in fair condition.  The bowl of the later spoon appears in poorer condition, displaying some slight surface dints and bumps and the metal also feels quite thin.  Also, the fork tines are a little bent.  All the hallmarks are clear and legible.
