Lot 417

Lot Description

A cased set of six matched 1920's silver teaspoons, each with golf club stems and terminals, hallmarks for Birmingham 1922, 1923 and 1925, four with maker's marks for William James Dingley and two with marks for Robert Chandler. Together with a Ronson lighter. Weight of spoons 3.16 ozt (98.3 grams).

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

All the pieces display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with their age and use.  Slightly heavier wear to the tips of the spoon bowls but they have generally faired quite well.  Some rubbing and slight loss of surface detail to the golf club terminals and one is a little bent.  The hallmarks are clear and legible, just some slight rubbing.
