Lot Description

A 1920's silver Rat-tail Hanoverian pattern part canteen for twelve place settings comprising table spoons, side forks (eleven present), dinner forks, table spoons, teaspoons, each with initial engraved terminal. Hallmarked Walker & Hall, Sheffield 1925 and 1928. Gross weight 100 ozt (3120 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.

There appears to have been a variance of frequency of use of the items and therefore some variance in condition is evident. Generally all pieces would benefit from a clean and polish as further numerous spots of discolouration are visible. Wear to prongs and blade marks to the prong reverse.
