Lot Description

A selection of silver items to include five mid-twentieth century coffee spoons with shell terminals, hallmarked James Dixon & Sons Ltd, Sheffield 1946. Together with a Victorian silver napkin ring with beaded edge, hallmarked H Bros, Birmingham 1885, a further silver napkin ring and a pair of silver sugar nips. Gross silver weight 4.3 ozt (133.8 grams). (8).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. The spoons are heavily tarnished, some loss of detail to the terminals on two. Victorian napkin ring slightly distorted in shape, crack to the right of the cartouche, some rubbed details. No other significant damage. Personal engraving to removed from the first napkin ring and the second with name inscription.
