An Edwardian silver swing handle fruit basket of shaped oval form, the fruiting embossing amongst floral scrolls, shells and circular piercing. Hallmarked Birmingham 1905, registration number 169924, with the maker's mark S.G. Length measuring 11 inches (28 cm), weight 11.92 ozt (370 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor dints and bumps. Light rubbing to the definition on the detail of the embossing. The hallmarks are clear and legible, maker's mark partly worn.
