An early Victorian silver mounted cork, the tapered cork with silver terminals, the domed top with gadrooned rim and circular pull surmount with plain panel. Hallmarked Charles Reily & George Storer, London 1846. Length 9.7 cm, weight 31.2 grams.

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The cork has discoloured with age, now a mottled brown hue, cracks and slight losses to the patinated surface. Maker's mark slightly worn, legible. Moderate black spotting.
