A cased ivory and split pearl box, of rectangular form, the grooved ivory box, with mirror and velvet-lined interior, the lid with woven hair glazed panel and split pearl surround. Length 7.4 cm. With original case.

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Outer case shows significant wear, discolouration. Discolouration to ivory. Deterioration to mirror with minor cracks to the edge. Discolouration and minor losses to velvet interior. Split pearls in good condition, well matched. Glazed panel with minor abrasion.
