Lot Description
A Sampson Mordan double ended scent bottle, the hobnail cut glass body with plain gilt tone mounts, one hinged cap, the second screw down. Impressed circular maker's mark to interior of hinged cap, also stamped 'S. Mordan & Co Makers' to screw cap. Length measuring 4 5/8 inches (11.8 cm).

Condition Report
The scent bottle displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The gilt tone mounts are now quite worn and faded to some areas. Small dint to the edge of the hinged lid. Hinge and clasp are in working order. Minor edge nicks and chips to the glass. Stopper deficient. Cork is still present in the screw on cap.
