The item displays general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use.  There is some tarnishing to the gilt tone mounts, also some fading and heavier wear around edges.  Minor surface dints and small gouges in the metal visible to some areas.  The hinged lid and push button clasp are in working order.  Stopper is deficient.  The hinges to the vinaigrette are also in working order and the maker's name is clearly legible to the interior of the lid.  General surface nicks and minor chips to the glass body.
