A George III snuff box, the crest cartouche to the scale-work engraved lid and base, with punch engraved surrounds. Hallmarked Abstinando King, London 1803. Length 6.4 cm, weight 32.5 grams.

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Wear to the engraving along lines of shallow dents to the lid and base. Discolouration to the gilt interior. Slight wear to hallmarks, legible.
