A late Victorian silver caster, raised on a flared and stepped foot rising to the cylindrical body flanked by oblique fluting, central vacant cartouche and domed pierced detachable cover. Hallmarked Mappin & Webb (John Newton Mappin), London 1895. Height measuring 7 inches (18 cm), weight 6 ozt (190 grams).
