An Edwardian silver vesta case, of oblong form with chased foliate scroll border. Hallmarked S Blanckensee & Sons Ltd., Birmingham 1902. Measuring 4 1/2 cm by 3 1/2 cm, gross weight 24.7 grams.

Condition Report
The vesta displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Several deeper scratches and nicks in the metal are visible, also some minor dints/bumps. Heavier wear around edges and rubbing and loss of detail to some areas of the decoration. Hinged lid is in working order, although it is raised slightly when in the closed position. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
