Lot Description

An early twentieth century silver vesta case of oblong scroll engraved form, suspended on Albertina chain. Vesta case hallmarked Rolason Brothers, Birmingham 1917. Height of vesta case measuring 4 cm.

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Numerous shallow dents. Lid does not fully close. Wood has been stuck inside. Albertina broken with numerous repairs and appears to have components which are base metal alongside white metal parts. Hallmarks to vesta are clear and legible.
