The jug displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.  Some heavier scratches visible and some small surface dints and bumps.  There is a solder repair to the main body, running down from the top of the rim at the join of the handle.  A line is visible to the interior and solder to the exterior, approx 1 1/2 inches in length.  Some rubbing and slight loss of detail to some of the decoration.  The maker's mark is partly worn and distorted.  The other hallmarks appear a little rubbed but are still legible.
