An early twentieth century pair of silver sauce boats, each of classic form with shaped rim, flying scroll handle and raised above three stylised paw feet. Hallmarked Barker Brothers (Herbert Edward Barker & Frank Ernest Barker), Chester 1916. Maximum length including handle measures 7 1/2 inches (19 cm), weight 16 ozt (498.3 grams).

Condition Report
Both sauce boats display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Numerous deeper scratches, nicks and contact marks are visible. Some heavier spots and small patches of tarnishing. Some minor dints and bumps. The hallmarks are clear and legible, just some slight rubbing to one of the maker's marks.
