Lot Description
A Victorian silver vase, the cylindrical tapering form with Aesthetic Movement engraving depicting birds within foliage and surrounding a vacant cartouche, the body raised on a circular footed base. Hallmarked London 1877, maker's mark indistinct. Height measuring 5 inches (12.5 cm), weight 3.7 ozt (118 grams).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Repair has been made to the join between the body and base, also some loss of the border engraving to the foot and body nearest to the join. Hallmarks a little worn, maker's mark almost completely indistinct, also numbered to the underside of the base 3810. No personal engravings.
