Lot Description
A George III silver teapot, the oval body part fluted rising to a fruiting vine border and standing on four ball feet. Hallmarked London 1812 with the maker's CH, tentatively attributed to Charles Hollinshed. Maximum height measuring 6 1/4 inches (15.5 cm).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
Numerous dents, dints and bumps. Large soft solder repair down the back seam. Small split or repair to the spout opening, there is also some splits along the corner edges of the length of the spout, repairs also visible. Wooden handle a little loose. The terminal unlike the handle appears ivory, likely to be a replacement, and displays numerous hairline fractures. Small split to the silver surrounding the top pin of the handle join. A small hole to one of the feet. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
