An amethyst and split pearl foliate brooch. The circular-shape amethyst collets, interspaced by split pearl leaves, to the plain openwork bar. Length 6.5cms. Weight 6.7gms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. Gemstones well matched. Amethysts purple, vary slightly in hue and saturation, generally moderate colour saturation. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Gemstones generally in good condition with some scratches and nicks, one with a large chip to the crown facets. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue for coloured gemstones. Split pearls creamy to creamy-orange, vary slightly in hue. Generally fairly good skins with some surface blemishes, some with significant surface wear and chips. Fairly good lustre. Stamped 14K.
