A mid 20th century 18ct gold and platinum diamond three-stone ring. The graduated old-cut diamonds, to the plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 1.20cts, I-K colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Weight 2.4gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with age/general wear. Evidence of resizing/repair to the band. Diamonds bright, differ slightly in shape. Principal diamond is drawing slightly more of a yellow hue than the side diamonds, side diamonds also vary slightly. Principal diamond with a dark coloured inclusion under the table facet, alongside other inclusions, visible under magnification. One side diamond with light coloured inclusions located at the side of the table and towards the girdle, visible under magnification. One side diamond with a large surface reaching inclusion located to the edge of the table extending towards the girdle, visible to the unaided eye. Durability may be impaired. Two diamonds in good condition with some abrasion and nicks, one with significant nicks associated with a surface reaching inclusion. Ring size N1/2. Stamped 18ct Plat. With personal inscription to inner band reading 'J.S.R. to R.W.F 1.3.50'.
