An early 20th century 18ct gold tourmaline and split pearl brooch. Of openwork design, the circular-shape tourmaline collet, within a split pearl scroll and foliate panel. Length 3.9cms. Weight 4.6gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair to good. Minor surface wear in keeping with age. Replacement base metal pin, slightly misshapen. Tourmaline yellowish-green, moderate to dark colour saturation. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Gemstone in good condition with minor abrasion. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue or on our website for coloured gemstones. Split pearls creamy to greyish, vary slightly in hue. Some possible replacements. Fairly good skins with some surface blemishes, some with fractures and small chips. Fair to fairly good lustre.
