A late 19th century gold garnet sentimental brooch. The oval-shape garnets, within an oval-shape recessed and rope-twist panel, to the vacant panel reverse. Length 3.4cms. Weight 10.7gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear and tarnishing in keeping with age. Some peeling and wear to the gilt surface. Replacement base metal pin. Garnets in closed-back settings. Purplish-red with moderate colour saturation. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Gemstones in good condition with minor abrasion and some nibbles.
