A mid 20th century 18ct gold diamond single-stone ring. The brilliant-cut diamond, within an illusion setting, to the tapered shoulders and plain band. Estimated diamond weight 0.45ct, J-K colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Weight 2.8gms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. Some discolouration to the inner gallery. Evidence of resizing. Diamond bright, drawing a slight yellow hue. Light coloured surface reaching inclusions located towards the girdle, visible to the unaided eye. Durability of some areas may be affected, diamond assessed within the limits of the mount. Diamond in good condition with minor abrasion. Ring size J1/2. Stamped 18ct.
