Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear. Put together from separate components. The bars do not align. The opal has a white body colour with moderate play of colour predominantly showing greens and oranges. The rubies are fairly well matched with different-shape outlines, with a well matched slightly purplish pinkish-red. With fairly good clarity some with dark inclusions that can be seen with the naked eye, no inclusions affect the passage of light through the stone. Some rubies have chips, nicks and abrasions.
