An early 20th century platinum and 9ct gold diamond and sapphire brooch. The cushion-shape sapphire collet, within a geometric scrolling surround, to the old-cut diamond collet halo. Estimated total diamond weight 0.85ct. Length 3.6cms. Weight 6.4gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Minor small repairs to the gallery edge of the brooch, discolouration. Minor small dents to the edge. Fittings 9ct gold. The diamonds appear bright and well matched. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Scattered inclusions. The sapphire is a deep, moderately dark blue hue. Moderate facet-edge abrasion.
