An early 20th century silver and gold, diamond and gem-set novelty brooch. Designed as a diamond point cat with ruby eyes, playing with a pearl, to the angular panel mount. Pearl untested for natural origin. Length 5.1cms. Weight 6.9gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Minor discolouration. Foreign assay marks to clasp and pin. Fittings possible replacements. The diamonds appear bright and well matched, estimated total diamond spread weight 0.40ct, which is no indication of the total diamond weight. Pearl untested for natural origin. The pearl is semi-baroque with creamy white hue. Minor wear. Typical surface blemishes. Rubies well matched with purplish red hue.
