An 18ct gold star sapphire single-stone ring. The circular-shape star sapphire cabochon collet, to the tapered shoulders and plain band. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1985. Weight 9.7gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches, dents and discolouration in keeping with general wear. The star-sapphire has a greyish-blue body-colour, with straight colour zoning. There are scratches and abrasions across the top in keeping with general wear, and typical light and dark inclusions to the stone. The asterism is weak in normal light and concentrates to one side under pin-point light. The dimensions are 9.5mms diameter and 6.7mms depth, sapphire is believed to be approximately 6cts. Ring size P.
