Two early 20th century 18ct gold ruby and diamond rings. To include a circular-shape ruby, old-cut diamond and diamond point scroll ring, together with a ruby and diamond five-stone ring. Hallmarks for Birmingham. Weight 5gms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with age. Evidence of resizing. Second ring with small areas that differ in hue around the solder joints. Some possible replacement diamonds and rubies. Rubies untested for natural origin. Rubies differ slightly in hue, pinkish-red with moderate colour saturation. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Gemstones in fair to good condition with some abrasion and nibbles. Estimated total diamond weight 0.07ct. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Large inclusions, some are surface reaching and visible to the unaided eye. Diamonds in fair condition, some with abrasion and nicks, some with significant nicks and chips. Ring sizes P and K1/2. First with hallmarks partially rubbed. Second with hallmarks for Birmingham, 1908.
