A ruby and split pearl bird brooch. Designed as a split pearl parrot with circular-shape ruby line accents, to the tapered bar with similarly gem-set floral terminal. Length 6.6cms. Weight 14.3gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Pseudo-marks to the reverse of the parrot, indicating 18ct. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue and on our website for Coloured Gemstones. Seed pearl untested for natural origin. Split pearls mostly well matched, some with wear to the outer nacre layers, some appearing medium deep grey. Some probable replacements. The rubies are a well matched medium pinky purple red hue. Eye visible inclusions. Minor abrasion.
