A late 19th century 15ct gold sapphire and diamond ring. The circular-shape sapphire line, within a vari-cut diamond surround, to the openwork gallery and tapered band. Weight 4gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear. The sapphires are later replacements, with a medium intense blue with fairly good clarity, showing typical inclusions that do not affect the passage of light through the stone, with good condition and minor abrasion. The diamonds appear bright and well matched, estimated total diamond spread weight 0.40ct, which is no indication of the total diamond weight. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Ring size N.
