An early 20th century 18ct gold ruby and diamond three-stone band ring. The oval-shape ruby, with old-cut diamond sides, inset to the slightly tapered band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct. Weight 6.8gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The band has been repaired/resized with a significantly discoloured area of 9ct gold to the back of the band. The diamonds appear bright and well matched. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Minor nicks to facet edges. Scattered inclusions. The ruby is untested for natural origin. Due to the setting of the ruby and the significant abrasion we are unable to determine if the ruby is natural or synthetic. Ring size T 1/2.
