A French Art Nouveau 18ct gold diamond medallist brooch. Of circular outline, depicting a woman with flowing hair and stylised branch, with rose-cut diamond highlights. Three diamonds deficient. Maker's mark for Compte d'Epinay de Briort. French assay marks. Diameter 2.9cms. Weight 14.7gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good to fair overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Three diamonds deficient. Minor soft solder to pin hinge, possible replacement. Small dents to back of mount, minor soft solder to lower edge. General slight discolouration. Stamped Depose. French diamond maker's mark to clasp. The diamonds appear bright and well matched, estimated total diamond weight 0.04ct. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades.
