Lot Description
An early 20th century 18ct gold diamond and gem-set dragonfly brooch. The old-cut diamond collet, split pearl and segmented body, to the rose-cut diamond-edged wings, with circular-shape ruby eyes and textured finish. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.20ct, K-L colour, SI clarity. Length 6.3cms. Weight 14.8gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Stamped 18 to pin, maker's mark G.G. The diamonds appear relatively bright and well matched. Individual rose-cut diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Split pearl shows discolouration and glue to edge. Rubies bright and well matched purplish red hue.
