An early 20th century 15ct gold split pearl and demantoid garnet pendant. The split pearl drop, suspended from a seed and split pearl flower within a split pearl and circular-shape demantoid scrolling surround, detachable to the split pearl floral surmount and near period 9ct gold belcher-link chain. One split pearl deficient. Length of pendant 5.1cms. Length of chain 39cms. Weight 8.1gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. One split pearl deficient from surmount. The demantoid garnet and split pearl panel and drop are detachable from the split pearl surmount, possibly not original. Pendant and surmount stamped 15ct. Chain clasp stamped 9ct. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue and on our website for Coloured Gemstones. Seed pearls untested for natural colour origin. The split pearls are well matched within the pendant and surmount, but not together, the split pearls to the surmount appear slightly worn, a silvery white hue. Possible replacement split and seed pearls. Demantoid garnets appear vibrant green hue, very slight differences in the tone. One of the smaller demantoid garnets with chip to the crown facets.
